Joshua is such a sweet boy, he is growing so fast. He loves to dance to music, whenever any music is on, he bounces up and down to the beat. He lets Justin climb all over him, and hardly ever cries about it. He’s still a big eater and has really mastered feeding himself finger foods. He is content to sit and play with a toy for an hour, though he can crawl around if he wants. Joshua has the best giggle and seems to laugh at all the wrong times. his famous move is kicking Justin and cracking up about it.

Joshua is a big personality in a smallish body. He has doubled his birthweight, but is still pretty small for his age. He and Justin alternate who is bigger from week to week. Joshua is just starting to sit unassisted. He refuses to sleep on his back anymore. Once he figured out how to roll over he’s been a tummy sleeper. He loves being on his tummy in his bed and when he’s playing. He still has the reflux but his screaming fits are nearly gone. He loves his rice cereal and veggies, and has been a good eater with the solid foods. He still has a great smile but really makes you work for it, tickling, singing, dancing, peek-a-boo are among his favorites.

Joshua is very strong, he can support his weight on his legs. (Assisted with balance of course.) He has a very strong personality too. He knows what he wants and mostly wants it now. He’s very sweet and has a huge smile that lights up his face with a gaping open mouth and a stuck-out tongue. Sadly, he is suffering through terrible reflux, so he can go from smiling and giggling to screaming and writhing with no warning. He cries loudly and with huge wet tears. It’s terrible to see him suffering, and we are doing what we can to comfort him and hope he outgrows it soon. He’s been to doctors and specialists and they assure us it is nothing more serious, but he’s a baby and can’t help but to scream because it hurts. Jeff has a special knack for soothing him, perhaps because he knows the feeling, having had reflux himself for years.

So before I was born I took up all the space. I stretched out, and my brother curled up into a ball. I also liked playing tricks during my mom’s non-stress test and kicked off the monitor or rolled around a lot making it difficult to get an accurate reading in less than twenty minutes.
now that I am out in the world i like to eat! why not? i’m a natural at it. mommy also says i’m a super-sucker, and if she ever gets bitten by a poisonous snake she wants me to suck the venom out!
i’m not so big on the after product of eating, which is why i save it up for big bursts instead of little messes. quite the opposite of my brother i’ve been told.
